
Council President Sheffield on 'Detroit in Black and White'
Detroit City Council President Mary Sheffield, who is running for mayor, talked on Saturday about her accomplishments on the city council, her goals, her gripes about the city, and her relationship with Mayor Mike Duggan on the podcast/videocast "Detroit in Black and White."
"I am the most qualified, the most capable, able, willing, and ready—on day one—to deliver for Detroit," she said, adding, "I think I have great managerial skills."
The co-hosts also talk with George Jackson, former CEO of the Detroit Economic Growth Corp., who thinks Mayor Mike Duggan took too much credit for developing the riverfront in the State of the City address.
